Member Spotlight: Jones Chan
Jones Chan, who was an SHN Member for more than 40 years, recently passed away at the age of 99. Prior to his passing, he completed our Member Spotlight Survey and below are his responses, along with a note from his wife of 37 years, Kathleen:
“Quite sad to say that my sweetie pie Jones passed peacefully at the age of 99 years, 4 months & 15 days. We had a hell of a wildly fantastic 37 years together. He started singing karaoke at 90 and seeing Broadway shows at SHN was his passion and many thanks for honoring ‘Member #7′” – Kathleen Chan

What does theater mean to you?
The opportunity to gather with friends & escape into fantasy.
If you could have dinner with one person (living or dead), who would it be and why?
Albert Einstein—because he was brilliant but had a goofy side also.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A pilot.
